This is my workflow for training an AI model to create fashion representations from the early reign of King Rama VI (1910–1925). I have focused on the early period (1910–1915), which was still influenced by late Edwardian fashion. The defining elements of this era's fashion include intricate women's blouses and distinctive hairstyles.

Although Thai women of this era commonly wore blouses paired with chongkraben (traditional wrap pants), I have selected Western original images as reference points to achieve a more accurate silhouette. During the AI training process, I will combine colourised photographs of Thai fashion from the Rama VI era (sourced from the National Archives of Thailand) with Western original fashion images. This approach ensures the best results in terms of both historical accuracy and realistic period silhouettes.

1. Curate and Collect Reference Images

Find high-quality reference images

* Gather images from public domain or fair-use sources such as archives and museums.

* Focus on Edwardian fashion from 1910–1915, aligning with the early reign of King Rama VI.

* Use both Western and Thai sources to ensure historical accuracy.

Key reference sources

* National Archives of Thailand (for Thai women's fashion of that era).

* Europeana, British Museum, Met Museum, Getty Images (for Western Edwardian fashion).

2. Enhance the Quality of Original Images

Increase resolution & restore image quality

* Use AI upscaling tools like Topaz Gigapixel AI to enhance sharpness.

* Remove scratches, dust, and noise using Photoshop.

* Improve details in faces, clothing, and fabric textures for higher clarity.

Adjust facial features for Thai authenticity

* Apply LoRa models in ComfyUI Flux Dev to maintain realistic Thai facial structures.

* Use face-swapping engines to ensure the generated models reflect Thai facial features.

3. Colourise Black-and-White Photos Accurately

Use historically accurate colourisation

* Apply AI colourisation models such as DeOldify, Palette

* Compare AI-generated colours with:

* Historical fabric records.

* Paintings and period photographs with original colours.

Refine colours and fix imperfections

* Use Photoshop’s Dust & Scratches filter to remove imperfections.

* Adjust hue, saturation, and lighting for more natural and accurate colour tones.

4. Blend Thai and Western Fashion Elements

Design while considering Thai and Western influences

* Combine Thai-style blouses (traditionally worn with chongkraben or a sarong) with Western silhouettes.

* Ensure pleating, lace details, and accessories match the period.

* Emphasise Rama VI-era fashion by incorporating both Western and Thai references to achieve a historically accurate silhouette.

Modify and refine using AI tools

* Use inpainting techniques in Krea, MidJourney Editor, or Flux Redux to blend elements seamlessly.

* Adjust sleeves, collars, lacework, and fabric draping for a natural look.

5. Train the AI Model to Recognise Rama VI-Era Fashion

Use AI fine-tuning tools

* Train a custom AI model using Krea Training for Thai Edwardian fashion.

* Utilise Flux models in ComfyUI to refine AI's understanding of tailoring, fabric details, and dress composition.

Build a high-quality dataset

* Combine colourised Thai fashion images + enhanced Western fashion references.

* Ensure a dataset of 100–200 high-quality images for optimal AI training results.

6. Generate and Refine AI-Enhanced Fashion Images

Use detailed prompts for AI rendering

* Specify:

* Fabric type (silk, lace, embroidery).

* Trims & embellishments (pearls, ribbons, buttons).

* Historically accurate hairstyles (Edwardian updos, hairpins, decorative headpieces).

Final refinements and adjustments

* Adjust lighting, composition, and colour balance for a polished result.

* Use MidJourney Editor or Photoshop to fix minor imperfections and enhance realism.

* ฝึก โมเดล AI แบบเฉพาะทาง ด้วย Krea Training สำหรับแฟชั่นไทยในยุคเอ็ดเวิร์ดเดียน

* ใช้ Flux models ใน ComfyUI เพื่อให้ AI เข้าใจลักษณะของ การตัดเย็บ รายละเอียดของเนื้อผ้า และการจัดวางของชุด

สร้างฐานข้อมูลที่มีคุณภาพ

6. สร้างและปรับแต่งภาพแฟชั่นที่สร้างจาก AI

ใช้คำสั่ง (prompt) ที่มีรายละเอียดสูง

* กำหนด:

* ประเภทของเนื้อผ้า (ไหม ลูกไม้ ผ้าปัก)

* ลวดลายและเครื่องประดับ (มุก ริบบิ้น กระดุม)

* ทรงผมที่ถูกต้องตามยุคสมัย (มวยผมสไตล์เอ็ดเวิร์ดเดียน ปิ่นปักผม เครื่องประดับศีรษะ)

ปรับแต่งรายละเอียดขั้นสุดท้าย

* ปรับแสง สี และคอมโพสให้ดูสมจริง

* ใช้ MidJourney Editor หรือ Photoshop แก้ไขจุดเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ เพื่อให้ได้ภาพที่สมบูรณ์แบบ

ทำไมแนวทางนี้ถึงมีประสิทธิภาพ?

ไม่ต้องใช้การเขียนโค้ด – ใช้เครื่องมือที่เป็น AI ในการเจนภาพ (visual AI tools) เช่น Krea, MidJourney, ComfyUI Flux Dev Redux เร็วและง่ายต่อการทำงาน – ลดเวลาการรีทัชภาพด้วย AI
