However, it struggles with certain aspects of image refinement, particularly in regenerating hands and fingers. Additionally, when modifying or repainting an image, Midjourney tends to blur details significantly, reducing the crispness of the original. Another drawback is the resolution limitation—images are often reduced to sizes below 1,000 pixels. While enhancement tools are available, they apply a default sharpening that cannot be adjusted, sometimes resulting in an overly crisp or unnatural effect.

On the other hand, Krea offers superior control in regenerating hands and fingers, a common challenge in AI-generated images.
